David Dillingham,
Company Founder and President.
David Dillingham
began his contracting career in 1966. After his graduation from North Carolina State
University in Raleigh, David Dillingham went on to serve our country in the armed forces,
graduating from Naval Officer's school and serving in Vietnam as a Lieutenant.
After his commission in Vietnam, he graduated from Naval Engineering School and
began his career as an independent contractor. David Dillingham has always
maintained strong work ethics and high standards for every project he has undertaken.
The longevity of his company is a strong testament to his personal dedication to
quality work.
Joe Meyer,
Company Vice-President and Operations
Manager.
Joe Meyer graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Masters Degree
in 1977. He then took the role of professor at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee,
North Carolina, before he joined Dillingham Construction in 1981. Joe is
extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the excavation business - and
has direct experience handling the many different challenges that each project brings.
As Vice-President and Operations Manager, Joe Meyer is the main contact for
inquiries and bidding on new projects.
Kevin Lambert,
Project Manager,
Kevin Lambert has years of experience overseeing excavation projects and
managing jobsite personnel. Kevin is also our OSHA certified safety person in charge of training and supervising crews on
the jobsite. As the company project manager, Kevin has the task of making
sure every detail of the job is completed properly to the customers
specifications and expectations.

Company Personnel
Dillingham Construction has an experienced staff- both in the field and at our
home base in Asheville, North Carolina. Our job supervisors, equipment
operators, truck drivers and laborers are well-trained and safety-conscious,
which reflects in efficient and timely production from our employees. We
recognize that operating with inexperienced and untrained personnel leads to
costly mistakes and delays on construction projects. Also, our staff
of mechanics and maintenance personnel follow a tight, routine service schedule,
allowing our equipment to operate efficiently on the jobsite and eliminate
potential
downtime. We have a hard-working team of employees at Dillingham
Construction - and it shows in our job production and quality!
Dillingham Construction Company
Has been located in Asheville, North Carolina for 39 years and is currently
licensed to conduct business in North and South Carolina. We have been a
member of the Carolinas AGC (The Associated General Contractors of America)
since 1974. We have been fortunate to have been part of many outstanding
construction projects that we can still admire today. Dillingham
Construction has taken on many jobs
over the years, most notably for schools, airports, shopping centers, office buildings,
and apartment complexes.
Through large projects and small, Dillingham Construction has provided
consistent quality work for our customers, and will continue to do so on our
future projects.
